Refund & Cancellation
Our global policies regarding purchases and enrollments.
At MedTalks (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”), we strive to provide the highest quality medical English education and AI tools. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for our digital courses and subscription services.
1. General Digital Goods Policy
Because MedTalks provides primarily digital educational materials and immediate access to online platforms and AI speaking agents, the traditional right of withdrawal may be limited once the digital materials or services have been downloaded, accessed, or engaged with by the user.
The core rule: If you have logged into the student portal, accessed live webinar links, interacted with the AI, or downloaded course resources, your purchase is generally considered final and non-refundable.
EU Digital Goods Waiver: By electing to access or download digital educational content immediately after purchase, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to waiving your statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, where applicable.
2. Course Enrollments & Cancellations
A. Live Instructor-Led Courses
- Before Course Start: You may cancel your enrollment up to 3 days before the scheduled start date of the first live session for a full refund (minus any non-refundable payment processor fees).
- After Course Start: Once the first session has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, regardless of whether you attended the session or not.
B. Self-Paced & AI Training Purchases
- All purchases of on-demand content, pre-recorded modules, or AI agent usage minutes are strictly non-refundable once the account has been activated and login has occurred.
- Maximum Completion Threshold: Under absolutely no circumstances will any refund or partial credit be issued if our platform logs show that you have completed more than 35% of the course materials, modules, assignments, or AI minutes, regardless of the time elapsed since purchase.
3. Subscription Cancellations
If you are enrolled in a recurring subscription plan for continuous access to MedTalks resources or platforms:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No Prorated Refunds: We do not issue partial or prorated refunds for unused time within an active subscription month.
4. Refund Eligibility & Request Process
We review refund exceptions on a case-by-case basis in the event of extraordinary technical failures caused on our end (e.g., prolonged platform outages). However, incompatibility with your device, internet connection issues on your end, or changes of mind are not considered valid grounds for refunds.

5. Consumer Protection & Turkish Law
These refund terms are governed by the relevant commercial codes and consumer protection laws within the Republic of Türkiye. International buyers acknowledge that digital service provisions fall under the statutory exclusion for digital content and services once performance has begun.
